Manningtree & Mistley
These two towns are a short distance from nearby villages of Lawford, East Bergholt, Dedham, Flatford, Stratford-St-Mary and Ardleigh.
As well as being central to the famous Constable Country, they have a very rich history of their own.
Dutch Weavers and French Hugenots both settled here during the 16th & 17th centuries and each left distinctive architectural styles that can still be seen in Manningtree’s delightful High Street today.

Constable Country & The Coast
Flatford, Dedham Stratford St Mary and Ardleigh form the Dedham Vale region (or Constable Country).
They are all delightful towns rich in historic architecture and exquisite natural beauty.
Just a short distance away, the beautiful coastline of Essex can be fully appreciated at the resorts of Frinton on Sea and Walton on the Naze.
Both are small English seaside towns. Harwich and Dovercourt are home to a major port and blue flag beach
